Fixing a Golf Slice - Useful Tips

Golf slice seems to be a problem that concerns many golfers and what is worse is that not many of them are able to fix it. Once they do not know what exactly causes this problem, it goes without saying that they won't reach into solving this dilemma.
So the obvious question would be: where does this problem lie?

Golf Slice

First of all one should know that golf slice happens whenever the golf ball gets a "side spin" when being touched with the clubface.
If you take a look at this matter from its physical perspective you would understand that is happens mostly at the corporeal level of the move you apply to the ball.
Your mind should be in a total coordination with your body commanding it to do a good swing of the club.

The following reasons are the ones to lead to a golf slice:
1. An inappropriate stroke of the arm.
2. Stiffness in gripping with the hand.
3. Inadequate stance.
4. Inappropriate "weight shifting".

One thing that many golfers fail in performing is the swaying of the golf club together with the body. In case you shoulders won't do the right turn or your hand is too tight on the club then the slicing will appear.
You must be aware that every move you are about to make should be well coordinated with the ball and its striking.

Now that you know what exactly causes the golf slice, it is time to fix the error starting to make a swift shot. The following tips will help you into this:
a. Reach to have a right posture - this being also what every golfer tries to achieve when projecting a perfect stance. This is very important for and in strict relation to the correctness of the shot.
Perform a natural and right turn with your shoulders after you swing the club and hit the ball. Experts will indicate that a good thing to do is to align the shoulder parallel to the specific mark.
A correct posture will be ensured by keeping a natural move of the shoulders and elbows as well.

b. Give your club an appropriate grip. A tight grip is mostly what causes the golf slice problems as with this tightness your hand will be immobilized leading to an incorrect rotation after hitting the ball.
When your hand grips the club too tightly, it will determine the ball to sway towards the left side for the right handed golfers. Not to mention that with a loose grip it will also be a problem.

In order to have the problem solved one best suggestion would be to roll the hands moving backwards.
Do not forget that there is the strict coordination between the upper and lower parts of your body to reach to the correct posture and the right action of your hands.
A good golfer has experienced already all the problems that are commonly met with golf activity. But it is quite recommended to be very determined in practicing those skills to reach to the craft of improving your style of golfing.
